This was a wonderful piece designed by artist Sara Felix.  Each year, the Hugos are presented at World-con.  Each award consists of a cast metal rocket, designed by Jack McKnight and Ben Jason in 1953 and cast by Peter Weston’s foundry in the UK, mounted to a base.  Each year’s base is unique, and designed by an artist from the nation hosting the convention that year.

We are very proud to have done a significant portion of the fabrication for the base of this year’s award.
